Haring Ibon Discovery Cards

These Discovery Cards were designed to showcase Philippine avifauna in a visually appealing manner while also integrating useful scientific information for each species.

All 50 cards in the deck feature a stunning full-color bird photograph, taken by the Philippines' top bird photographers, alongside the scientific name, range, and conservation status. These Discovery Cards utilize the 2025 AviList Global Avian Checklist. Each deck also includes a mythical bird illustration.

This bundle has all three decks of our Discovery Cards: 

• Wetland and Grassland Birds (Yellow Cards)

• Raptors, Kingfishers, and Urban Birds (Red Cards)

• Forest Birds (Green Cards)

Players use the color-coded categories of each bird to compare which value is higher or lower, similar to the Super Trump card games of the 80s and 90s. The secondary use of the Haring Ibon Discovery Cards is as a pocket-friendly identification and learning tool for people of all educational backgrounds to learn about the birds found across the Philippines through high-quality photographs, with the birds’ common and scientific, local names for most species, fun facts, and their conservation status.
